Impulse+loop: the quarters

In September of 2017 Nuit Blanche Edmonton presented IMPULSE+LOOP: THE QUARTERS - an illuminated interactive urban art playground designed by Lola Sheppard & Mason White from Toronto, and Oliver Girouard and Jonathan Villeneuve from Montreal. IMPULSE+LOOP was first unveiled at Montreal’s Luminotherapie Festival and is travelled to Edmonton for Edmonton’s first DESIGN WEEK, September 22-30.

Wild Heart was hired to program a carnival style night market on September 23 from 7:00-11:00PM to launch the work. Wild Heart was responsible for the following areas of work:

• Program Coordination

• Site Management

• Vendor recruitment and coordination

• Audience Experience and Infrastructure

• Reporting

IMPULSE+LOOP was well received by patrons and organizers and saw approximately 6000 patrons to the Quarters.
