Description: WHC was hired to fulfil the Production and Logistics Coordinator for NBE beginning June 2018 to November 2019. From that time, WHC worked quickly to learn about the upcoming program and was excited to dive right into a fast-paced 4 month work path. Over the course of our 4 month contract, WHC completed 950 hours of work between WHC’s team consisting of 7 core team members.

This role involved the day-to-day coordination of activities for the Nuit Blanche Edmonton 2018 event. Including overseeing all aspects of program implementation and delivery to ensure the highest standards in programming was maintained. Under this role, WHC was responsible for managing, implementing, and activating the strategic direction of the Board of Directors, and the artistic integrity of curated exhibitions and special commissions. WHC worked closely with the Board Chair and President and other contracted staff to ensure the successful Production and Event management of Nuit Blanche Edmonton 2018.

Wild Heart as the Service Provider was responsible for audience experience and on-site activation by managing areas of work including:

  • Project Development

  • Program and Production Coordination

  • Market Activation, Audience Experience and Infrastructure

  • Vendor recruitment, coordination and management

  • On-site Management and Staff

  • Maintain a production budget and administration

  • Volunteer Coordination
